When You Combine The Power Of Dua With The Innocence Of A Child

When you combine the power of dua with the innocence of a child, something special happens…

I remember carrying my second child in my womb when I asked my then 4 year old daughter what she wished for: a sister or a brother? To my surprise she answered “both.” I told her that mommy was carrying only one baby, so she couldn’t have both.

Alhumdulillah, a few short months after that day I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl; and 17 months after the birth of my second daughter I gave birth to beautiful baby boy! As soon as my son was born, the first thing that came to my mind was the memory of Hafsah wishing for both a sister and a brother! Subhan’Allah!

And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way. (Surat al-Baqara, 2:186)

  2. SubhanAllah!! Indeed the power of dua is multiplied when asked with a sincere and innocent heart like that of a child 🙂 MashaAllah Hafsah seems like such a sweet kid. May Allah always bless her. Ameen
