Who were your best teachers in elementary school? Thinking of both my grade 2&3 (I had the same teacher for both grades) and grade 4 teachers makes me smile from my heart, as they were the best teachers ever! They both raised my self esteem immensely, which I needed because I was an insecure and extremely shy student. In addition, these teachers made sure my opinion was heard within the classroom, even though I was reluctant to voice my opinion myself. Furthermore, they both went the extra mile to make sure all the students were happy, comfortable and safe!

Love is…finding the sweetness in your life.

Sometimes, the sweetness of this life doesn’t come in obvious forms. We think we will taste the sweetness once we become rich with money, or if we drive fancy cars and have 100’s of friends. On the contrary – sweetness has nothing to do with money or fame.

A+ In Effort, Attitude, & Behaviour

I recently had the exciting opportunity to write for Gaya magazine in the’Inspire’ section – one of my favorite sections! The Gaya ‘Inspire’ section is a place where you will find articles written by strong women who have a positive message to convey. And of course, like the title of this category suggests, it’s a place where you will find inspiration!

With that said, the topic of my article is about how we can create a positive environment when reviewing grades with our children. Furthermore, I discuss how we need to make an effort in finding our children’s strengths both in and out of school.
